We are so proud of our knitting students here at All About Yarn and thought we would share some of their finished projects with you!
The first comes from Patsy, who knitted ponchos for her two adorable granddaughters, Allie and Ripley. The novelty yarn around the edges adds a playful fringe that highlights the twin’s cute little faces–well done Patsy!
The rainbow of earflap hats were made by Laurena to give as gifts this Christmas. She chose 5 different colorways of the beautiful self-stripping Covington yarn by Cascade to make the hats. Both the pattern and yarn are super hot items this year–very poplar with the ladies and the gents!
These lovely stockinged feet belong to Linda, who just finished her first pair of socks. She used Melody from Jojoland, a stunning fingering weight yarn that blends several coordinating colors together.

Comment by jwitt33 January 5, 2011 @ 11:48 amIf anyone would like to recreate the super cute ponchos by Patsy, the pattern she used can be found in the book called, “Kids’ Knitted Sweaters & More” on pages 18-23.
