Mohair is an all-season fashion fiber: in lightweight airy structures that breathe with the body for summer days, and in wonderfully warm knits for cold weather. Colinton Australia’s unbrushed mohair imparts a unique signature in your completed garment. Mohair is a naturally soft protein fiber which is enhanced by current expertise and modern processing methods.

Ultrafine Lace, from Colinton Australia Yarns, is an extremely fine and unusually soft lace-weight yarn! The 100% mohair base has the least amount of halo you’ll find around. It will conform to washing and blocking, softening to set off your most detailed lacework!

This yarn is custom made from the first and sometimes second shearing (6 months/12 months old angora kids) and it is rarely utilized in knitting yarns. The mohair is grown from the youngest Angora goats, which produce the finest of micron levels (20-25 micron)–you will NOT fine anything like it around.

You will actually enjoy working with and wearing this mohair–give it a try today!
