We are so excited to carry another wonderful hand dyed yarn from Mountain Colors! Their newest sock yarn, Crazyfoot just arrived and it is gorgeous! As always, the color combinations are beautiful and numerous–so you have plenty of options to choose from! Crazyfoot is a blend of 90% Superwash Merino Wool with a touch of Nylon, which makes it ideal for socks, mittens, scarves, shawls and more–you could even make a matching sock/sweater combo!
Crazyfoot’s construction and content make the yarn not only soft, but strong and sturdy as well; giving socks (and garments) wonderful longevity wash after wash. There is plenty of yardage in each skein of for an average sized pair of socks, but remember you can use Crazyfoot for more than socks! Try knitting a fine gauge sweater with Crazyfoot for a beautiful and long wearing addition to your wardrobe. Crazyfoot is also perfect for shawl knitting or for a pair of fingerless gloves.
